- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a standing charge of $40 for travel. My prices start at $55, meaning $40 for travel, $15 per Acknowledgement or Jurat. My travel fee is based on how far a client is. I travel all of Los Angeles and Orange Counties. An adjustment is made for clients who are in within 20 minutes of my residence. Acknowledgments $15 per signature Jurats $15 per individual taking oath or affirmation and certificates Depositions $30 for all deposition services $7 for oath $7 for certificate Certified Copies of $15 for each power of attorney Power of Attorney Copies of $0.30 per page Journal Entry Living Trust Signings $85+ Loan Applications $100 Real Estate Closing $250
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After I receive first contact from my customers I try to respond as quickly as possible. I will ask for the best way to communicate with them and follow up immediately by that method. I will ask what documents need to be notarized and if there are any witnesses involved or additional signers. Based on the number of signatures needing notarization I will give them a final quote and confirm when they would like to schedule their appointment. If the appointment is not the same day I will always confirm at least 2 hours prior to the appointment time to make sure we are still good to go.
