There are not many people who do what I do. There are nutritionists who teach people how to eat and watch calories, however, I take a very different approach. I work specifically with people in their homes, in their kitchen, seeing what they actually eat, suggest the changes by showing them what that is, I work with them in the grocery store while buying food and, I teach them how to cook. I am a "coach" working "with" them. Seeing people excited with the results of how they feel and how they look and the changes in behavior they have for themselves and their children. Seeing people get excited about knowing they are going to live a more healthy life.
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Depending what service they want from me, the price will vary. Some people just want a consultation, including going over the foods that are in their kitchen. Some people what that, plus taking them to the market. Some people what all the above plus, teaching them how to prepare foods and create meals. So, price structure changes depending on what they want. It can be a package or, an hourly rate.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?After experiencing emotional and health issues while I was very young, I started doing research and found that certain foods was the root cause to most of my problems, including the emotional. I continued to research by watching children and their behavior, while eating certain types of foods and not enough of other types of foods. I have dedicated myself to educating people on how food can affect your life in so many ways.
