Introduction: Do you need a polished, accurate transcript of an interview, webinar, or phone conversation? I have 25 years+ experience as a transcriptionist of audio, video, typed, and handwritten notes. Since I work remotely, I’m available to clients in every state, and I do all of my transcribing from scratch. I’ll provide you with an editable Word document when you share your recordings with me via Dropbox or Google Drive, or email me typed or handwritten documents. My fields of work include one-on-one interviews, dissertation interviews, medical, psychology, phone conversations, entertainment, depositions, court hearings, police interviews and body cam extractions, podcasts, government, webinars, manuscripts, memoirs, focus groups, HOA meetings, teleconferences, trainings, and more. I needed a 15,000-word non-fiction book transcribed to include some complicated citations. Barbara didn't hesitate to take on the project. My pricing is tailored to your specific project. Please contact me for my reasonable rates.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In our first contact, we will discuss the nature of your job, the length of the audio or video recordings, pricing, delivery of the transcripts, and turnaround time. I use the Dropbox file sharing application for receiving mp3, mp4 and other file formats, and I can either email the transcripts in Word document form to you or upload them to Dropbox.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master's in Library and Information Science and a Court Reporting Certificate. Working as a Reference Librarian gave me the opportunity to provide customer service and to do research. Working as a court reporter provided me with the opportunity to transcribe my own work. I did freelance transcription for attorneys and court reporting agencies while I was attending court reporting school.
