Introduction: I'm Yvonne (y tambien hablo Español) and I live in Los Angeles, CA. I am a pianist with over 12 years of training. My specialties are classical, popular/contemporary, as well as church music. My experience as a teacher includes private lessons in piano, as well as some vocal coaching. For my students, I focus on developing healthy techniques, sight reading skills, and musical expression. After establishing proper technique, I work with each student on an individual basis to develop repertoire based on their unique musical interests and goals. I have been taking lessons with Yvonne for about a month now and am very happy with her services. I really like the curriculum she uses but also I love that every lesson she will cover things not in the curriculum. This shows me that she actually cares to put in the time to get you where you want to be which I really appreciate. I feel like I've already learned so much in the time we've had. I would definitely recommend her services to anyone wanting to learn the piano.

Yvonne is hands down the best piano coach! She challenges me while encourages me in which grows my skill set to actually understand how the measures, beats, notes and chords work together and why. I’ve learned so much the past month working with her. She makes it easy to want to apply the work to get the results of actually learning it from basics to fluent.
