Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Honest, open talk and solutions about the issues others may not feel comfortable talking to you about. I will not be judgmental and I will meet my clients where he/she is, not at some pre-judged place where others think he/she should be. My belief is that the client is already the expert on their life. I may have insight, feedback, suggestions or solutions for some problems but at the end the client is the boss and has the tools to make the right decisions that work for him/herself. I just help them uncover these tools. Sometimes the tools get buried under emotions, like anger, sadness, resentment and confusion. We will work through all these to get to the source of the problem wherein lies the solution as well. The ability to help people find real solutions in their life. I love listening to people and learning about the various life experiences that make up their lives and their existences. I also like to find factors that all humans share. Our experiences may be different but we all experience the same gamut of emotions. Sadness, loss, grief, anxiety, worry, confusion are all experienced differently by everyone but the concept and understanding of these feelings are the same. And the coping skills are similar also. I love to impart knowledge to people, knowledge they already intuitively know but which may for some reason gotten lost or buried. I love to help people solve their own problems.

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Shop around for someone until you find a good fit. All providers are not created equal and every provider has his or her own history, his or her preferred techniques, beliefs, philosophies and of course style of working with clients. If someone's style, process, etc.. does not mesh with your own, it's okay to be honest about it, and search until you do feel comfortable. You are paying for a service and you deserve to work with someone who you feel understands you, someone who connects with you.
