I’d give Denali Builders 6 stars if I could.
Sam loves what he does, is personable, keeps his word, and goes the extra mile. I had 4 estimates for a new roof. Sam’s was competitively priced, neither the highest nor lowest. I signed with Sam because he came across as sincere, had a project load that would allow him to be attentive, and related that providing value to his customers is good business in the long run. I felt like I had an ally in him. He lived up to my impression, and actually exceeded my expectations.
His crew was timely and tidy. Sam set up a clear communication channel via text & WhatsApp. He gave me regular updates of the job. When an unexpected issue came up - like hidden termite damage affecting some fascia boards - he documented it with video. When the city inspector tacked on extra vent requirements, he worked with me to keep extra costs to a minimum. He also did bonus work that was unexpected and much appreciated … calling it his “gift” . In my case, he created a cricket to prevent water from collecting around my chimney, which is often a source of leaks, thereby helping me avoid future problems. I’m very satisfied.
I will definitely give Denali Builders a call again whenever I need the services of a general contractor. Sam’s the Man!

I actually would like to choose all five qualities up above. We had a wonderful experience with Denali Builders. When I first approached them regarding a new roof, I heard from Sam the owner the next morning. He was flexible and accommodating in making an appointment for the next week. When he came to our house, he went up on the roof himself and made his recommendations. Sam explained everything to us and told us he could begin work the very next week. When the work began, Sam was there and he called me every day at least once a day. His workers were extremely professional and hard-working. I never saw them slack. Their work was beautiful. When I had questions, Sam responded immediately and did everything he could to make us happy. We absolutely fell in love with this whole company and look forward to working with them again. I highly recommend them. (If I knew how to attach pictures, I would. We have had compliments from our neighbors and we couldn't be happier.)

If you're looking for a roof company, stop looking! Denali Builders is who you want to hire for the job. Trust me, nobody is as picky as me and nobody does more research before buying than I do. Denali wasn't the cheapest and they weren't the most expensive. What they were was PROFESSIONAL! Sam was here everyday checking on his team. He answered every one of my calls and text messages. He was completely upfront with everything. There were no hidden cost added. He gave me my options and his recommendations and let me choose. No pushy car salesman tactics. It didn't take long to realize that with Denali you're dealing with a person that cares about HIS company, not a sales guy from a large company that cares about his commission check. Sam values his customers happiness. We had a small issue after the gutters and he quickly resolved it. I am very satisfied with my new roof. I've already used Denali for another job. (Insulation) Sam is not a salesman, he is the owner of a professional company that truly cares about your happiness with the job. You can hear the sincerity in his voice. He even sent me a Merry Christmas text! What contractor does that? I love the technology he uses. I won't spoil the surprise. The quicker you call him the quicker he will be done with your roof. We would come out to the project and check accessibility, measurements, talk to you about materials, layers on your roof, the color you want.
We do roofs that take 2 days, we have done roofs that take 3-4 weeks. All these factors will help us to create a contract that works for you and set a price. You won't have to worry about hourly or hidden fees. The price will not change.
