Kaycie is a remarkable musician. I reached out to her in a panic needing a new song for my wedding processional. She created the most beautiful cover for my bridal entrance, and was so responsive that it turned what felt like a music emergency into a piece of cake. I am so, so happy I reached out to her.

I had the opportunity to work with Kaycie (Satterfield Music Studios) on a score for my film "The Vampire" and she truly delivered excellent work. She created such a unique sound for my gothic horror romance film taking influence from classic horror film sounds and making it modern and making it hers. She was so easy to work with and extremely professional. Her passion and knowledge of music really shows and I look forward to working with her again.

Kaycie has been teaching my daughter, now 11, for about a year or so. She's a great guitar teacher--she makes learning music fun. The kid learns her chords and guitar technique and whatnot, AND she has fun while doing it. She always looks forward to her time with Kaycie. She had her in person and now on Zoom and there actually doesn't seem to be any difference in the quality of the one-on-one instruction.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I use an hourly rate. I have found that this is most fair for my clients and myself. I also offer 25 and 45-minute lessons, which are priced accordingly!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to open a candid and honest line of communication between myself and the potential client where we lay out expectations of each other. This is a great time to see if I can offer what the client is looking for! This is where I ask lots of questions, speak on my abilities and specialties and go over logistics, such as my cancellation policy. Do you have equipment? Is food provided? What kind of music are you looking for? Can I set out a tip jar? Etc.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a BM in Commercial Music from Belmont University! At Belmont, I sang with Chamber Singers, a classical group, and Jazzmin, the Downbeat Award-Winning jazz vocal ensemble. I worked at a hotel for four months after graduation, where I learned an immense amount of repertoire! I have been teaching lessons for five years.
