Introduction: BASED IN LOS ANGELES Offering in-person lessons in Los Angeles and remote lessons everywhere else. I’ve been singing and playing guitar as long as I can remember. From a young age, I knew that music was my calling. As a full-time musician and private instructor, I aim to share that passion with others. I hand-tailor each musical opportunity, whether it be background music for a ceremony or a lesson. I aim to create life-long memories through performance and life-long students through teaching. New student special! $20 off packs of four

My daughter (11) has been taking lessons since she was 9 from Kaycie and her musicianship has grown as well as her dedication to the guitar. Kaycie is warm, kind, creative and motivated. She really inspires my daughter.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I use an hourly rate. I have found that this is most fair for my clients and myself. I also offer 25 and 45-minute lessons, which are priced accordingly!

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to open a candid and honest line of communication between myself and the potential client where we lay out expectations of each other. This is a great time to see if I can offer what the client is looking for! This is where I ask lots of questions, speak on my abilities and specialties and go over logistics, such as my cancellation policy. Do you have equipment? Is food provided? What kind of music are you looking for? Can I set out a tip jar? Etc.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I hold a BM in Commercial Music from Belmont University! At Belmont, I sang with Chamber Singers, a classical group, and Jazzmin, the Downbeat Award-Winning jazz vocal ensemble. I worked at a hotel for four months after graduation, where I learned an immense amount of repertoire! I have been teaching lessons for five years.
