Ive loved singing for a long time, as a child I developed an anxiety about it because I got made fun of so it led to an extreme fear causing me to be unable to sing even by myself. Maries great at helping me get through it without judgements. Singing has been something I wanted since I was a kid. Thanks to her lessons, it's now achievable for me :)

Vyrènne was the first voice teacher I ever had and she really set the tone for everything after that. She was able to figure out my voice type super quickly, which honestly helped me understand what I was working with way sooner than I expected. She always had a bunch of resources I could use outside of lessons too, so I could keep practicing on my own, and she would point me toward artists with similar voice types which made things click a lot more. She’s also just really smart in a way that goes beyond singing. She has a philosophical way of thinking about music and growth, and you can feel that when you work with her. It’s not just technique, it’s how you think about yourself as an artist. She was so kind and patient with me, especially since I was just a beginner, and I never felt uncomfortable or judged. And something that really stuck with me is how she tried to bring her students together. She wasn’t just trying to train singers, she was trying to build a community where people could support each other and grow together, which is rare. Also when I was between jobs or busy with school, she worked with me instead of making it stressful, and that meant a lot. So if you have a choice between Vyrènne and another teacher, go for Vyrènne you won’t regret it!!

I have been taking piano lessons from Vyrenne for several years and have enjoyed every minute of it. She employs the perfect combination of pushing me to improve while allowing me to master skills at my own pace. I also very much appreciate that both the lessons and the skills she has me practice are more engaging and just plain fun than those of any other instructor | have had. Marie is highly valuable as a mentor and teacher. She opens new understandings of music and its industry through direct instruction specific to the needs of her clients. This perspective comes from my experience working with her as a vocalist. I have heard and seen my singing and my success grow in leaps and bounds which show the expertise and awareness they were given. Her teachings may be complex due to her nuanced knowledge and capability, but improvements will be made wether or not immediate understanding is fully comprehensive.
