I have worked with Summit Landscaping and Elaine for several landscaping designs at our house. I learned that she used to work for one of the world’s iconic retail store design teams, and this background is reflected in the sophistication and professionalism of the work. Most recent was a stunning front yard patio rock garden. We’ve had neighbors driving down this way to admire it. One told me it belonged in Sunset magazine... Elaine has an exceptional eye, and her designs will transform ugly and forgotten parts of your property into beautiful living space. She also chooses the best plants and flowers, integrated perfectly and suitable for our climate. Her crew is very reliable, and all our projects finished on time.

Summit Landscaping did a phenomenal job on my front yard project. I had a front entryway that was not very inspired and asked Elaine to come up with some ideas to make it inviting and beautiful. She came out in record time and worked with me, offering many creative ideas. She really listened to me on what I did and didn't want for my entryway and came up with a plan that worked within my budget. She then gave me a bid that was very clear as to what she'd be doing, and how long it would take. And she and her crew exceeded my expectations. From beginning to end, they were professional, responsive, and followed through on everything that was promised. Now I have a beautiful front yard that makes me feel good when I come home, and that I enjoy spending time in. I highly recommend Summit Landscaping!

Elaine did a great job throughout the whole process of our backyard project. She met us a number of times to discuss design options and various recommendations, and provided detailed design work and layout with a thorough attention to details. She was available when we had questions and was responsive, and very professional.

We hired Elaine to do a complete refresh of our landscaping - and we are so glad we did! Elaine had so many wonderful ideas. She picked beautiful plants that were both deer-resistant and drought-tolerant. Her crew did extremely high quality work for a very fair cost. Elaine was on site daily to make sure everything was done perfectly. We highly recommend Elaine and will 100% hire her again for any future landscaping that we do.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Each project is different. We offer free estimate, on site consultation, design and full installation, each is priced based on level of service and scope of the work.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We meet owner at the property. We discuss with owner about his/her wishes. We check out the property, make recommendations, and provide total job estimate. If Owner is interested in working with us, we sign contract and begin design work. We meet with owner to present initial design, answer questions, and collect feedbacks. We provide installation proposal after final design is approved. If required by Owner we provide full installation service by our own team.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our designer has years of experience working in the industry. Our installer has tens of years of experience working in the Bay Area. We are skilled in masonry, carpentry, irrigation and landscaping.
