Introduction: My name is Makayla and I am a passionate young chef who is willing to think outside of the box to create delicious meals. Cooking meals from scratch with local, in-season ingredients is what I strive for every meal to be. I take inspiration from French and Californian cuisine. Personal Chef

I hosted some friends for a girls' weekend and Makayla prepared dinner for 5 of us on Saturday evening. The food was absolutely delicious. The courses were spaced perfectly so we could laugh and talk and drink wine. Everything was plated beautifully. There was a lot of variety and everything was prepared perfectly. She even cleaned the kitchen before leaving. It was so relaxing and delicious, and her personality was so sweet. Everyone asked for her contact info before the night was over.

Makayla provided an incredible service, her food was absolutely delicious and was made with the highest quality. I throughly enjoyed the Mediterranean salad that she made, as well as the handmade hummus bowl. Overall a great experience, highly recommend!

Makayla arrived on time. Her setup and clean up were clean and orderly. She made us a juicy perfectly cooked medium rare ribeye served with roasted brussel sprouts, carrots and onions. Our experience with her was excellent and the food was amazing! We will definitely be scheduling her again soon and possibly keeping her on full time since my husband and I have busy schedules.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    My pricing starts at a base price of $40 per person. I then include the price of ingredients, 0.56 cents per mile of travel and a %20 deposit.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    What do you really want for your event? Make sure your budget matches your goals. I have an intake form for new customers to fill out in detail about what they are looking for and from there I can gauge how to be of service to you.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I recieved my certification to be a personal chef from IAP college and a food handlers license.
