Anne is an incredible teacher who openly shares a tremendous understanding about acting and music. I feel so comfortable with her. One hour with her flies by as a second. Anne is very open-hearted and easy-going. She's a big professional. I'm so delighted to know her and learn about the dramatic arts. We combine vocal exercises and different types of monologues which both help me to "try on" various characters. In fact, we experiment with hats, umbrellas,fruits, and many interesting elements which take me into different centuries. We also read poetry and analyze it. We do improvisational exercises which help to use my imagination and be creative. Anne integrates body, mind, heart, and spirit into the sessions, weaving a life thread which will be with me for years to come. What more is there ahead? Can't wait to find out!

I've been a piano student of Anne Delaney for 4 months. I am very pleased with her style of teaching. She incorporates much more into the lessons besides the basics of reading and playing music. Anne really works on technique, dynamics, tempo, mood and imagery, and the historical background behind the music I am learning. She is patient and warm, and I always enjoy our lessons.
