Mariana Carvallo catered our party of 70 guests for the Stanford Division of Hematology on October 15th, 2016. She and her staff of 2 additional kitchen staff/servers, as well as bartender put on a spectacular event. She is a local culinary treasure not to be ignored. Below I have pasted the menu she served which honored vegetarians/vegans and gluten-free dietary needs. The guests absolutely adored the cuisine. The bartending service was top notch and many commented that it was a party to remember. Mariana and her staff cleaned up afterwards and left the our kitchen and outside area pristine. The professionalism was highly impressive. The feedback was so positive that I have every intention of hiring her for all my future catering needs. She's my go-to person now. I worked with Unica Party Rentals who works with Mariana and that aspect worked seamlessly as well. Mariana is a fantastic chef! She catered a small dinner at our office which doesn't have a full kitchen. She brought her own burners and made a delicious 3 course meal. Everyone loved the food and commented on how delicious the filet mignon with risotto was. I'm definitely going to hire Mariana for our future dinner events at the office.

I chose Mariana based on her menu options, and also her very prompt replies, which indicated her level of professionalism. We set up a three course dinner menu for my wife's surprise 40th birthday at our house. Mariana showed great flexibility and a willingness to accommodate any requests I made. She arrived two hours before mealtime, in the pouring rain, and got right to work. I was able to receive guests and host, without so much as a worry about what was going on in the kitchen. When the food was ready, Mariana served it hot and delicious, and everyone commented on how tasty it was. Several guests asked for her contact info afterward. She and her bartender partner provided exceptional service and did an excellent job cleaning up as well. Would definitely hire Mariana again; worth every penny!
