I have been training with Jackie for over 18 months now twice a week. He has been instrumental in meeting my fitness goals. As a result, I have build more muscle mass, improved endurance, and have been eating cleaner. Jackie is well rounded in all aspects of fitness. He knows exactly how much to push me and designs workouts that don’t leave you sore the next day. In addition, he is very friendly and reliable. I would strongly recommend him!

Jackie is an exceptional trainer. His workouts are always well thought out and balanced. I'm an orthopedic surgeon who was looking to get into better shape. His strong understanding/focus on body longevity as well as overall fitness really impressed me. I highly recommend him.

I hired Jackie to fill in for my regular personal trainer, who was out of town for 3 weeks. He was quick to respond, and very professional. The workouts were fun, fast-paced and varied. He brought mostly his own equipment, and demonstrated a variety of new exercises, targeting different muscle groups. I enjoyed getting to know Jackie a bit, and will definitely reach out again whenever my regular trainer is unavailable.

I hired Jackie initially because I liked his attitude: it was his confidence that I respected. To give you some context: I fired my last trainer because he had more attitude than I liked, so I warned Jackie during my complimentary phone consultation that I was extra and asked him if he could handle it. "I'm gonna say yes." I also liked how much time he took to listen to me about my fitness goals as well as why I was leaving my last trainer. He empathized with my less than excellent experience with him, which I appreciated. After hiring Jackie, I was very impressed with the template he made for me, illustrating the plan to meet my goals. I learned things that I've been trying to ask my last trainer, who wouldn't teach me. Like my singing instructor said, "Students don't come back to learn, they come back to check in." Even though I've been learning a lot from Jackie, I appreciate the experience I'm getting. Every time I meet with Jackie, he is right on time. He's also very accommodating in that he's willing to meet me at my preferred time, early on the weekend--who does that? I've never had a trainer train me at 6:00 AM on a Saturday or Sunday. One time, Jackie even trained me the day I needed an emergency session because I was so stressed. He's also very efficient with the time as I've noticed we would end exactly at the time we're supposed to--he has Impeccable timing. Not only is he accommodating in terms of scheduling, but I'm very grateful for how I don't have to buy in bulk. I understand the value and discounted prices of buying in bulk, but after doing that right before another shutdown at my last gym, I was traumatized. I like to pay as I go, so that my money isn't just sitting somewhere, when I can be making money off of it elsewhere. One time, I overslept during a 6:00 AM session and Jackie was So nice about it, he wasn't even upset! He just brushed it off and rescheduled for a time later in the day. What I especially like about Jackie is that he isn't a snake oil salesman. He doesn't make me train more than I want to or try to tell me that I need to workout more than once a week, especially when I do dancesport and rehearse all the other days of the week. He doesn't try to sell me supplements or tell me what supplements I should take. He also doesn't try to have me eat things I don't want to. What I like about Jackie's facility is how it's private: it's not open to the public, it's just for personal training clients, it's a fully-equipped gym, so only a limited number of people can be there at a time, which makes it safer and much more comfortable for me b/c of COVID. Also, no need to wait or fight for equipment! My favorite thing about the facility: the energy. Jackie and the owner (if no one else) don't mind my singing. I actually was discouraged to sing in my last gym, so I didn't feel accepted. One of my goals is to be able to strength train and sing opera at the same time, which Jackie is more than supportive of letting me do. I almost forgot: Jackie's very calm, which I need in my life, obviously, because I'm extra 🤣 Thanks for being awesome, Jackie!
