- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing includes a thorough pre-vacuum, pre-treatment, and deep steam clean. Don't be fooled by others who just use steam for a quick job. Most won't bother with pre-vacuum which is the most important thing in cleaning carpets. I go a step further and add soil suspending solution for a deeper clean. Some stains may require special treatment and those are quoted on site on a case by case basis. Military Veterans, active duty, and first responder personnel receive a 15% discount on all services.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer I try to evaluate their carpet cleaning situation through messaging or phone call. This serves as a convenience to the customer who does not have time for an in home estimate. After I have gathered all the necessary information I give an estimate. All quotes on thumbtack are estimates and may change depending on the severity of the soiled carpet or is information was misrepresented. Ex. customer states one small room needs to be cleaned. In reality it's actually a rather large room with severe stains.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Certified as a carpet cleaning technician with the IICRC (industry standard) and current/good standing as of 2018.
