Spec Group

Introduction: Spec Group Inc. has been under new ownership since 2011 and was established in 2009. Spec Group was formed originally to provide security-based training for the security sector as well as the general public. Now under new ownership and administration, Spec Group Inc. has been reborn with the goal of supporting the Department of Defense, private and government contracting entities as well as private and corporate clients with the best in investigative and protective services. Our investigators have had real-world experience working major cases ranging from homicides, narcotics, terrorism, undercover, narcotics, methamphetamine manufacturing, identity theft, burglaries, witness intimidation, blue- and white-collar crimes, minor to major traffic accidents, and accident reconstruction. Our investigative division is headed by a recently retired law enforcement veteran of 25 years who has worked uniform patrol, undercover assignments, training, and administration and emergency management. Our training and protective service branch is also comprised of former military and law enforcement personnel which include Special Forces and NAVY SEALs. In 2014, Spec Group was honored by a member of Navy SEALs Class 143 and was presented with the Navy SEALs Trident. Spec Group is now officially certified as being a, "Certified Disabled Veteran-Owned Business," "Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business" as well as minority owned. Spec Group has provided security details for maritime ports as well as Fortune 500 companies. Spec Group has provided security and surveillance/investigations on hostile terminations. Individuals terminated were kept under 24-hour surveillance because they were considered high risk and had made threats to bring harm to the employers, their businesses and employees. There is not a one fit solution to most problems, specially investigations. SPG takes into consideration the needs, wants, issues, problems, and concerns that our clients face and provides the proper balance between theory, application, and methods to form a solution. This involves a strategy of awareness, prevention, investigation/assessment, deterrence, detection, and finally, mitigation.
