Danielle Elise Voice & Piano Lessons

Hi there, I'm Danielle! I am a trained opera singer with my Masters of Music from UCLA and over ten years of private teaching experience. My students tell me that I am approachable, down-to-earth, and encouraging and that I tailor lessons for each individual student, taking the time to assess their learning style and specific goals. I work with very young children through advanced adult students alike, and have had experience also training celebrities for auditions and roles on TV shows and movies. I have infinite patience and unlike many teachers, I pride myself on being able to adapt my style of teaching to work for different learning styles and students with differing goals. Music means different things for each student, so I avoid subscribing to a "one-size-fits-all" method of instruction. I love that I get to interact one-on-one with students from a variety of backgrounds everyday, from children as young as three who simply need to be exposed to general music instruction, to adults well into retirement who are looking to rekindle their love of piano, to advanced singers needed detailed refinement in technique. I particularly love watching students develop and excel at their instruments over time, finding newfound ways to express themselves and channel their creativity. When I am not teaching or singing in operas, you can find me running a secondary social media business pairing with major brands like Kohls and Pantene on their marketing strategies, photographing clients on the weekend, and working across LA as a plus size model.
