- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Thumbtack requires a listed “per device” or estimated price, but that number is often inaccurate or misleading. Please contact us so we can provide a detailed quote based on your specific issue. Our standard rate is $100 per hour with a two-hour minimum for on-site service. Remote services have no minimum. We do not charge mileage, processing, or per-device fees.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step is usually a brief phone consultation to understand your needs and make sure you’re connected with the best possible service, even if that means recommending a competitor or advising against a repair altogether. From there, we’ll schedule an on-site or remote service appointment as needed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a state-licensed technician with 20+ years of hands-on experience. My background is entirely self-taught through real-world work, problem-solving, and continuous learning. I take pride in having practical knowledge that goes beyond textbooks or classroom training.
