FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do not have a complicated pricing system. I first tell you what the job is worth to me. Then you tellme what you can afford. Then we agree on what it is worth for both of us to get the job done. It's that simple. I normally only charge for labor.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The only way I have a continuing education is by working at every job possible. I also watch DIY shows and hang out in Home Depot and Lowe's to learn the newest parts, tools and materials that are available. It is hard for me to just go into Home Depot and just walk up in five minutes.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I am retired from the Air Force. My main career is that I DJ at Weddings on weekends. I had nothing to do during the week days. The boyfriend of my best female friend needed help on a home remodeling job. He asked me to help him and I just fell in love with home repair.
