I had a freezer in an unreachable part of my garage for a few years. I planned to sell it but when I opened it I realized it had stopped working and whatever was in it was bad. I didn't see what it was because I closed the door immediately. I I reached out to them and they responded within minutes. The initial estimate was 150 but increased to 225 due to the nature of the load. I can't remember the exact reason, but it made sense. It was scheduled for the next day and the pickup driver pretty close to the expected time. Unbeknownst to either of us, when we moved the freezer, some pretty awful smelling fluid came out around the door. The price was risen once again because of the obvious hazmat situation that needed to be dealt with before they could junk the appliance. Normally changing the fee twice after the initial quote would result in a lower rating. I feel the changes were appropriate, and well communicated.

I need to move from San Bernardino county to San Diego county within a week’s time notice. I love the fact that Jake was very responsive on Thumbtack and answered all my questions and concerns with patience and grace. I like to do business with a lot of transparency and I definitely got that from this business. Jake sent over his two best guys over - and he wasn’t lying! They moved everything and treated all of my boxes in possession, like it was their own. Very meticulous and careful. The long distance price was really competitive and reasonable. It was definitely within my budget range. If I had to move again in the future, I wouldn’t hesitate to contact them as soon as possible and refer them to everyone I know. Thank you so much you guys!
