Margo has a lot of passion for martial arts and it comes out in his training sessions. After only a few sessions I saw improvement in my form and confidence. I would recommend this to anyone regardless of their experience level.

Dan and Russ make it fun to work out. What can often be a chore is something I look forward to throughout the week. Mixing in martial arts, boxing, and circuit training, the time I spend there flies by, and no two workouts are the same. The best part of it all, is that they really LISTEN to you. They cater to how your feeling while pushing you (gently) to be your best. No yelling "one more set", or "push through the pain". They pay attention to what your body is doing, often asking how you're feeling, and they don't do anything to put your health or body in jeopardy. As someone who is middle aged and doesn't heal as fast as he used to, this is vital to me. Knowing I'm in a safe environment with people looking out for me while I'm there, and for the long term is very reassuring. Combine this with nutrition and meal guidance, and you have a trainer who really cares about his clients.

Just want to give a review on Sensei Brian Hall I've had the pleasure of working Sensei Brian over the last couple of years. Sensei Hall is a very patient knowledgeable instructor with fantastic skills His mastery of martial arts coupled with a thorough understanding of nerve structure coupled with commonsense body mechanics is second to none. He practices the proper amount of control yet thoroughly demonstrates techniques. I wish him the best of luck in his new venture in California He's definitely missed here in the Northeast Jim McMahon Nidan Black Belt Excel Martial arts Norwood Massachusetts

Master Bob is an amazing resource with a vast knowledge base. I have been studying with him for over six years and feel like I have just begun to tap the available knowledge he has. I have been studying martial arts for 34 years and have had many instructors, few of whom match Master Bob’s skill set.

I've trained on and off with Alan for the past few years. He has an excellent base of knowledge in law enforcement tactics and procedures, as well as control and restraining holds and maneuvers. Not only does he explain things very well one-on-one, but has a unique ability to demonstrate WHY something works or doesn't work. He is always looking at new material that appears in martial arts and law enforcement circles, and determining whether or not it is effective. For anyone looking to do law enforcement or security work, I recommend him without reservation!

Sensei Ali Jafari is an extremely experienced and creative instructor who continually teaches the "art" in martial arts with great patience and respect for students of all ages and abilities. In my 13 years of martial arts training with Sensei Jafari, I have always appreciated the sense of community spirit he fosters in our dojo. Through our training, we as students learn from each other and support each other in our efforts to reach our goals - whether it be to get in shape mentally and physically, achieve more balance in life, or simply to become a better human being.

I started boxing lessons with Chuck about 8 months ago. With no prior boxing or martial arts experience, I had no idea what to expect when walking into a boxing gym. I started my search online, looking at reviews and prices. Luckily, I decided to try out Classic Boxing Coach and struck gold. Although not fancy or over-the-top, the gym has all the equipment one would need (at least from what I can tell). It's never too crowded but also never lacks energy. All of the other trainers and members that I have met have been warm and welcoming, always willing to chat or share a funny story. When walking into a boxing gym for the first time ever, I expected an intimidating, intense, and cold competitive environment; yet this gym offers a hard-training atmosphere with only positive vibes and good spirits. Chuck is an amazing trainer. I think the best thing about his training is his positive and energetic attitude. He is one of those people who is always present in the moment. He puts his focus and attention onto whomever he is training. He brings in the perfect blend of mental and physical toughness. Chuck explains the sport both philosophically and technically, while still putting the athlete through hard physical workouts. The training experience at Classic Boxing Coach comes with a great balance between training and fighting. There is enough sparring to create excitement and anxiety (if one chooses to spar), but not so much that each week is an all-out fierce battle with other members. Overall, I've had an incredible experience so far at this gym. I've learned the technical aspects of boxing, had great and grueling workouts, and had some good battles in the ring. Chuck is a great coach and an even better person. He always puts the clients first. I highly recommend this gym for anyone thinking about starting boxing or switching gyms.

I studied with Master Frank for about a year before moving out of Southern California. My experience could not have been better. He knows the martial arts extremely well and is an excellent instructor. He is particularly good with children, and his fees are very reasonable.
