Sedat is a one of a kind music teacher that for the last couple of years has been teaching guitar and piano to my kids (6 and 8) and my husband. He's great with kids -- patient and encouraging, and can pivot to teaching adults just as easily. Sedat organizes an annual Bay area wide recital which shows off everyone's hard work and is such a memorable experience. Thank you Sedat!!

I have been working with Sedat for a while. Befor starting with Sedat, I've been looking for a teacher who can not only improve my knowledge of music theory, but also who can show me how the theory applies to improving my guitar playing and enable me to move beyond the pentatonic scale. It's hard to believe it's already been a year since our daughter began lessons with Sedat. In that time, she has not only learned guitar—she's come alive with it. Sedat has a gift for meeting each student where they are and helping them grow with confidence and joy. Under his guidance, she has developed skills and a genuine love for music.
Sedat's thoughtful, patient approach and ability to challenge just enough have helped her thrive during lessons and on stage. The recitals—whether at school or organized by Sedat—have been such proud milestones for her (and us!).
