Hired on Thumbtack

Chris was great and I would hire him again. The only negative was that he was half an hour late, but he was great otherwise. He did some tile work, hung a light, drilled holes for cabinet hardware, re-attached an outlet face plate, and did a couple other small things.

Our wooden bed frame was broken and the bed was too low for me to get off of and up to a walker (I am 2 weeks home from having total knee replacement surgery) without having to pull up on a contraction that my husband divised.
Chris arrived. Very professional and friendly. Assessed what was needed to make the repair. He went out and got what was needed and in a short amount of time has solved the problem. The bed frame has been repaired. The bed mattress and box spring heightened and I am able to get out of the bed without assistance or a need to be pulled up. His gifted trade has today made me a new woman.
I would recommend him to anyone needing repair. He is a professional whose rates are reasonable and he does quality work.
Thanks Chris.
Thanks Thumbtack!

Chris did great work, was prompt and polite and very reasonably priced. He advised us on the replacement parts we needed to buy ahead of time, so he was ready to go once he arrived. Highly recommended!

Chris talked us through how he made his door fixes and made recommendations that were mindful of our needs as well as being budget-friendly. I really appreciated his craftsmanship. The sliding door operates better now than when we first moved into our home!

Details: Exterior door (e.g. front door, patio door) • Sliding door (like an exterior patio door) • Glass • Problems opening the door • Problems with door swinging or sliding • Door is drafty or leaking • Weatherization (e.g. block drafts) • Home

Just started using Chris as our handyman at the estate I oversee. So far he has been a great help - broad diverse knowledge base, good problem solver, enthusiastic approach to tasks, practical, if he doesn't have the skill to do something he will say so and recommend others who can do the job. But so far he has been able to do most of the tasks I have asked him about. very pleased and intend to continue having him help us out.

Details: I need help with many long-term or complex projects, approximately a full day of work • Maintenance • Repairs • Installation • Painting • Kitchen • Living room • Attic • Garage • Deck or porch • Closet • Interior walls • Doors • Exterior walls • Gutters • Cabinets • Residential • I'm ready to hire the right handyman based on price & fit
