Recovering post achilles tendon surgery I was in dire need of a personal trainer. I met Ana Barroga. Recovering from such a massive surgery I was so limited with my range of motion and stability. Even though I had so many limitations, She knew exactly how my body worked (weaknesses & strength) mechanically in one session. She really takes the time to get to know her clients and what they really would like to achieve with working out. She takes her clients goals, but makes them 10X bigger & better. Her personality & technique is very structured but she is also extremely supportive and ethusatic about each and every one of her clients stories, goals, & milestones. Working out has always been a challenge for me growing up with Cerebal Palsy in my left leg. Post surgery, I thought I would never be able to bear weight on my left leg, never be able to jump, never be able to run without a limp. Training with Ana over the past couple of months, I have reached all those goals. I can now jump, I can now run and put full weight on my leg. If you want a trainer that is super attentive, and will go above and beyond to make sure you achieve your goals and dreams. You have found the right one! I would highly recommend Ana and Barroga Fit!Jul 14, 2017
I came to Barroga Fit with Sciatica in my lower back, but I also wanted to lose weight and gain muscle. I personally have tried virtually anything to stop the pain in my lower back. I even did physical therapy and going to a chiropractor. Those were temporary fixes, so I had to change it up. I came across Barroga Fit on yelp. After the first week of working together Ana really knows how to adjust my workouts where it can strengthen my muscles, but also control the pain happening in my lower back. After training with Ana I barely even notice that I am moving without pain in my normal life. Most people might think personal training is just for weight loss, but what I got from training with Ana is just not weight loss, but also my life back.May 19, 2017
Out of the seven trainers that I've had at Equinox, 24 Hour Fitness, and various other gyms, Ana Barroga has distinguished herself as the most capable and effective personal trainer I've worked with. Her commitment to me as a person, attention to detail, and thorough explanations have not just given me a healthier body, but the tools and the knowledge for me to maintain fitness. Ana tends to carry her clients extremely close to her heart. She has done a great deal of research and worked extremely hard to come up with a plan that challenged me and allowed me to easily measure my success. This, coupled with her infectious enthusiasm, completely changed my attitude towards personal training and working out. If you are trying to ascertain whether or not to pick Ana as your trainer, let me be clear: Ana's skill set and experience loudly forecasts a future where she will be amongst the most sought after trainers in Los Angeles. I can't recommend her enough.Jul 14, 2017

Please, do yourself a favor, book your first session with Ana. You will not regret it. I went to Ana to tone up and slim down, and to also find ways of helping my sciatica. I had two sessions with her per week for about two months. I have tried all sorts of exercise classes, slimming worlds, boot camps, gym, and never stuck with it. With Ana PT classes, I never hesitated about showing up, and crucially for me, I never checked the clock during each session. Ana really takes the time to build a strong rapport with all of her clients and gets to know them and their goals. She is incredibly supportive. She tailors every session, so it never gets boring, and the chat and banter makes it fly by. Ana is an excellent trainer and motivator. She is punctual and consistently keeps in contact to make sure you are working to your best abilities. She is flexible with hours and is willing to go above and beyond her duty. Her knowledge and drive kept me motivated the whole way through!Oct 27, 2019Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? The cost of the sessions vary based on the program you commit to and how often you do your homework. I often advise potential clients to not base their decision on finding a trainer based on who is the "cheapest," but who will pay attention to detail on what the individual need and what they want to accomplish.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? My process with working with a new client is, I collect a lot of information, so I know exactly how to program their fitness journey. The more I know, the more productive we both are. I take measurements and do a postural analysis on the client to pin point how and where we need to start.
- What types of customers have you worked with?I have worked with a wide variety of clients. My clientele varies from an all-star athlete to senior citizens. I have a lot of experience in working with many individuals and is able to connect and transfer that connection to education through human movement.
