- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Prices are based on services a la carte, and will vary from project to project. Let me know what you would like done and I’ll give you a quote.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once our contract is signed, I like to brainstorm with you on how we can make your dream self come true. I’ll ask for your inspiration photos, and/or suggest some for you. I’ll also ask some relevant questions so I can cater the makeup to your specific face. All this can be done prior to our appointment date, or right before I start the makeup application — whatever works for you. Then you just sit back, relax, and wait for the reveal! Once I’ve got the whole look together, we can go over any details that need tweeking. Finally, you march out with your head held high and enjoy your event!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I grew up learning to do my own makeup during the rise of the YouTube age, and absolutely fell in love with the getting ready process. I have a BA in theatre & performance studies, where I learned to do stage makeup as part of the costume design classes.
