Hi Lori, We are sorry you decided to cancel with us before we were able to capture your beautiful day. As you know, our retainer fee is non-refundable. It protects our clients as well as us therefor no client can be booked replacing your scheduled session with us. I know that with this news you were upset to not receive a refund despite our standard photographers policy and you then provided us 2 stars which is unfortunate. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?1. I request a time that we could possibly connect to go over needs of the shoot. 2. I like to review common practices, do they want props or staging used, makeup hair referrals of pro's we work with etc. 3. Review pricing and provide a contract where seems fit. 4. I confirm the date/time and location a day before the shoot to remind my client. 5. If it's a wedding that I'm capturing I like to plan a followup call and/or meeting to review any updated needs for their day (about half way down the line from the date of their event) 6. They receive their package and photos online gallery within a 1-4 week period of time on basic shoots (usually this airs on the shorter side) and up to 4 weeks longer than this for weddings if orders are placed for prints, albums etc. 7. I like to review the chosen gallery of images in person if time will allow for my client plus a thank you email for their services and time spent together during our shoot!
- What types of customers have you worked with?I capture those on their travels and vacations to the valley! When no one wants to hold a camera I'm there to capture their memorable moments! It's a lot of fun being on their tour with them and they also love it! Why carry your own camera when you're supposed to be holding your glass of wine or your kayak!
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?I capture such precious moments and I think I treasure them as much as my clients do. I was there to capture a magical proposal. The soon to be bride had no idea. I was on site hiding behind bushes (hired by the soon to be groom) and I had to act the role as a part of the winery looking to have them in brochures for the winery. A lot of fun and such special moments!
