I am a former senior pastor of a non-denominational Christian Church. I believe in the God of the Bible and in His institution of marriage. If you didn’t know, now you do. Mel is the best! Simply put, he’s the man. So easy to work with and super fun guy. The ceremony was exactly what we asked for and then some. He researched info for my husbands requests to do some traditional Jewish traditions and he did everything while performing it at a top notch level. Interfaith marriage without a hitch. He really is the best. Add in his knowledge, grace, impromptu and loving personality and you have a win win. Don’t delay. Hire Mel and have the best ceremony. Thank you Mel! So so happy to have stumbled across Mel on Thumbtack. Through the whole process including the pandemic and a family loss Mel made sure to keep me sane and stayed responsive to my every need planning the ceremony to for our wedding. He answered all my questions and concerns and never went missing when I would message him. Which was huge considering the wedding technically took 2 yrs to plan. The day of the wedding he delivered my ceremony exactly as discussed and added some laughs and great advice for my husband and I. People asked how long we had been friends with him because of how personal and customized our ceremony was. He was never monotone and made the ceremony flow very nicely! My husband and I were very impressed with him! Definitely hire him if you want a genuine officiant who will deliver an awesome ceremony!

Wedding fees vary depending on the size of the wedding, location, formality and your budget. I work with everyone's budget. The average price range for an Officiant is $450.00 and up.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The typical process for working with a new customer is to introduce myself as to build a relationship so that trust is established.
There are no do overs when it come to a wedding or a funeral. I will also try to understand and get as much information as possible from the engaged couple as to provide and exceed their expectations.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been formally trained by Calvary Chapel Seminary and have much hands on experience over the years of officiating weddings, funerals, and much public speaking in both small and large venues.
I also used to be the Senior Pastor of Hope Fellowship Church.
