Stephen and his crew completed our fencing project flawlessly. They were on time, professional, efficient and hard workers! Stephen gave us fair pricing and his crew was super friendly and solved problems with little guidance. Communication was a breeze and response time was excellent. We highly reccomend using Stephen for any size project and will definately hire him again! Nick Bernier Project Manager Equitas Property Development www.EquitasPropertyDevelopment.com
I had a great experience with GH dock and door and would highly recommend them for fence work. We had a property line fence removed and they did a great job. They were responsive and timely. The team was professional and confident from the start, which made me feel at ease about the project. I received quotes from five different companies and theirs was the lowest.
American Castles Mike To the RESCUE!!! The water heater at my rental property burst on a Friday afternoon causing some major damage to the house. The renters were furious because their items got damaged and the house wasn't inhabitable after that. On the inside, the bathroom wall and under stairway closet were all soaking wet and drywall/carpet/padding had to be removed immediately to prevent mole build up. On the garage side where the water heater located, the entire wall was destroyed. so I called my home insurance who provided me with their preferred plumber who quoted an additional $540 out of pocket on top of what the insurance was going to cover just so he can bring up the water heater installation to code! He told me that it will take him 1+ week to order the water heater (duh...get one from Home Depot take only 1hr...which is what Mike did) and that he can install a temporary water heater and will charge $137/wk! He also referred me to a water damage restoration company which I was not too happy with either. Since it was an emergency and I went with that company. They came in and ripped out all the wet drywall without caring for any molding; especially for garage doors and closet doors! It seemed like what ever the water heater didn't damage, they did. They also broke my water heater intake shut off valve. damage the water heater over flow copper pipe. All I can say is I will not use them again! Back to the plumber, something was smelling fishy about his quote and so I called and questioned this plumber. His response was "Well, I will need to flush out the gas line and calibrate your water pressure...upgrade to the new California safety quote...put in earthquake straps...install new vent line since the new water heater nowaday don't use the old vent line!". I was not convinces so I started to Google for good local contractor and AMERICAN CASTLES (Mike Tay is the owner) came up from Thumtack along with few others from other websites. I contacted them and they came in and provided me quotes. Mike was the last one I contacted. He arrived within 30min. He checked out the damages and explained to me what needs to get done sequentially to get everything back in proper operation for my tenants. Mike is very knowledgeable and very patient in explaining things. I told him what the plumber had said, he laughed and told me the whole thing was a rip off and a scam! Another crock of bull**** and advised me against it. He told me to call my insurance company to inquire about using other plumber. Sure enough I was offered the "cash out" option which I didn't even know was available. I took that option and went with Mike for the repair. Mike knows how important it is for my tenants to get the hot water running again once the water damage restoration company completed the clean up/dry out the area (took 1 week). As soon as that company removed their equipment, Mike had his crew come in the next day (Saturday) to repair the garage dry wall and finished the installation of the new water heater and brought it up to code on safety on Sunday! He even added the water pan and installed drain pipe for me. I didn't even know such a thing exists (talk about quality...he treats it like repairing his own home!). The best part is his charge for the whole job including new water heater, earthquake straps, valve, drain pan, vent and new connection is far way less than what that plumber was going to charge me. I loved the fact he took the time to show me how things should be done up to code and what works for my situation instead of just giving a price and walking away. He did an awesome job! Unfortunately my landlord insurance's deductible was so high, I asked Mike to give me a quote for fixing the damage in the garage and inside the house. Mike's quote was very competitive and the best part is he is always willing to work with me knowing my situation (thx Mike). My bathroom paint is 16 years old so it was a challenge to match the paint for the new wall. After only quoting me for painting a small wall inside the bathroom, Mike decided on his own to paint the entire bathroom without charging for it. Now that what I call TAKING PRIDE IN YOUR WORK AND STICKING TO YOUR WORD!!! My summary is, Mike successfully completed the entire job and installation in four days. I would highly recommend Mike to anyone and will definitely be using and referring him to everyone I know.
Im real estate property manager. I met Sal in 2010. Since then Ive always been impressed with his work. He has done many repairs and improvements such as installing new vinyl windows, including patio sliders. Ive had him install bathtub/shower enclosures, sinks, toilets, garbage disposers and water heaters. He has replace valves and faucets. He can frame walls, hang and finish drywall beautifully. Recently he installed a stove exhaust hood vent, including cutting the existing cabinets and venting it out the roof. He has hung interior and exterior doors. He can trouble shoot electrical problems, replace circuit breakers, install coax, HDMI and CAT5. Ive asked him to run new electrical and cable outlets and install TV braces and hang large TVs. I recently had a dishwasher leak in an upstairs apartment that damaged the ceiling below. Sal removed the old damaged ceiling. Ran fans to make sure everything was dry before he installed new drywall and insulation in the kitchen/dining area. He added a brace for a new ceiling fan, which he also installed. He matched the existing drywall texture and painted it. He also installed a new dishwasher upstairs. In addition to all of the above he can unclog drains big and small. This is only a partial list of his abilities; no job is too big or small. He's excellent at problem solving and Ive yet to find anything he cant do well. Most of all hes dependable, honest and fair, not to mention hes a Marine. I would highly recommend Sal.
George was very professional and did a beautiful job with the installation of tile flooring on a rental property of my families. Not only did he do a great job but it was done in a very timely manner, as well as I think the price was reasonable. I would definitely recommend his services and hire him again in the future.
Fausto was a dream. As a business owner, I hold immense respect and gratitude for a commitment to excellence and integrity. Fausto hold both of those things dear, and it is evident in his work. I had him here, a week ahead of my in laws first visit. I had been trying for six months, in vain, to get things resolved by the Property Management Company. Fausto arrived while I was on a conference call. I pointed to the new items which were to replace the old and he got to work. He didn't wait to get into action until I was off the phone, as most people would when being paid by the hour. He got straight to it, worked quickly and with care. He cleaned up as he went. When he encountered an issue neither of us had anticipated, he found a solution using materials ON HAND which saved me money. My in laws have come and gone and I can't WAIT to have Fausto back.
Excellent customer service & professional. Jordan & Tim are a great team, along with the rest of his crew. Jordan gave me an estimate on an RV slab that literally sits on the side of a cliff. He took his time to ensure it was done not only with safety in mind but went the extra mile to stamp, color & border the Slab. So it's not only functional for the RV (a 14k lbs 5th wheel) but it's also a nice area for entertaining when the rv is not parked there. Polite, professional, trustworthy. These guys did a great job. I'll definitely keep them in my contacts for future work on the property. The were also able to salvage some nice stone pieces I had on the previous slab that I'm able to use in the future. I bought a larger RV, so these guys came in and took all the measurements needed to accommodate the bigger rig.
Excellent quality and honesty. We have hired Tom at New Millennium to do all our investment property roofs. So far, he has done 2 complete re-roofs and 4 roof repairs, and we are expecting to send another complete re-roof his way soon. All have come out great. We stick with Tom because of his exceptional quality and reasonable prices.
When Chris and his father Tom built an 800sq.ft. detatched two story structure on my property in Costa Mesa. From the get go they were timely and well versed in the art of construction. The job came in on time and at the proposed budget. The overall experience was very good and I would use them again if they'd travel to Hawaii to work for me.
Karmin excels in the capacity as an all-around handyman because of his knowledge and skills in both electrical and plumbing work. This combined skill-set enable him to complete a bathroom make-over project for our rental property in a relative short timeframe. I was extremely satisfied in working with Karim because he understood my wants/needs and came out with a plan to achieved them. His attention for details is commendable, e.g., new light fixture and mirror aligned in balance, trim and caulking done perfectly, and walls prepped correctly for painting. The high quality of his work was evidenced in the installation of a ceiling fan and new electrical outlets, along with plumbing connection to the new vanity combo unit. Karim kept me updated on major aspect of the project and he responded back to my calls/texts in a timely manner. I have extreme confident in his competencies for other repairs and improvement projects when needed. I highly recommend Karim.
Mr. Robin Shidler is my property manager for over 25 years. He has an outstanding professionalism and pride in his work and the Shidler Co and it shows; by the way he conducts himself. He is taking customer service to a new level unmatched by other. Keep up the good work!!!!
Ahmad has been doing a good job marketing our property with some challenging features. He is normally prompt to return calls and keep us updated.
Hired Monica & Joe after seeing some wonderful flips that they had done for investor clients of mine. Fantastic job!! They took a tired old looking house from the 1970's and made it completely amazing looking. A huge punch list was accomplished in a mere 3 weeks, including remodeling the kitchen, all baths, new paint, new carpet, new blinds, deep cleaning. We now have tenants fighting over this property!! All work was very high quality and was accomplished very fast (beyond our wildest expectations). Great communication. Definitely over delivered on both quality and timing! Will use again and again! Thx for a wonderful experience!
The guys at Solid Design Build have done an amazing job on my condo. Our kitchen looks amazing and the extensive paint job is immaculate. Those guys are very detail oriented and it shows! They are very panctual and completed the project a head of time and on budget. My wife is thrilled with her new kitchen and as the saying goes: "Happy wife, Happy life! We would definately hire them, again, when we are ready to do our master bathroom.
The Amaya brothers have been exceptional in several jobs provided to family and friends. These have included simple jobs for group camping all the way up to high-level craftsman work on historic properties and complex construction environments. I highly recommend them for all job consideration, regardless of scope of services in the building and construction space.
Concept 360 Property Management exhibits a high degree of superior skill and flair from traditional property management services in the South Bay. They are a independent firm, managed by Robin and Will, whom are hands on property managers. They are very knowledgeable, and provide fast/friendly services with a commitment to providing great tenant services so your property stays occupied longer. Its one of many things that set them apart from all others.
I've used Enterprise Property Mgmnt now for about 6 months. Everything has been managed very professionally. My agent, Paula Klingman, has been very responsive and responsible. I'm a long distance landlord...and in my absence I very much appreciate the care and attention to my property and my renter.
Although I've only selected S.I.G. a short while ago, I'm very impressed with Mike Shaar's property management knowledge and that of his team. Kyle went to my rental during the first week after we signed the agreement, toured the rental and took photos. Mike and Kyle seem to have personalities that relate well to both the owner and tenants. They are a very professional organization and I'm looking forward to a long relationship.
Good company to manage my house across the country. Referred them to my property neighbor and they hired them too! I like the referral fee they give and they give you a free month if they mess up on the smallest thing. Because they missed a text from me asking a question, they gave me a free month. ..nice!
I have lived in a TLC real estate property now for over a year. I feel comfortable and appreciate the privacy yet the responsiveness when I need something urgently.
Started my first experience with a property manager favorably with good communication with me.
