Introduction: My service is for the common man. For the musician who doesn't have thousands to spend on making a quality full length album or a demo. My prices are fair but that does not sacrifice the quality of the product. I will put all of my energy into making the music reach its full potential. If you are a solo artist I have studio musicians, including my self, that will help get your vision to come to life. The biggest advantage compared to all other studio's is my creativity. I am an extremely creative person and have an exceptional ear for quality and detail. Working with people is the motivational force that helps me want to create. Collaborating with others is what makes this job worth while. I am only one person so when others come into the mix it changes the dynamic completely. And each person I work with has there own thing to offer to help create something original. Studio Recording: $50 (Per Hour) Edit, Mix & Master: $150 (Per Song) Custom Drum Recording: $100 (Per Song) Drum Lessons: $30 (30 min) $40 (45 min) $50 (60 min) Engineering Lessons: $30 (30 min) $40 (45 min) $50 (60 min)

I love this studio! I went in originally to record drums for a song but ended up recording my whole EP in there. The place has a good, cozy vibe and is very well equipped. Jason is a great engineer and producer; he made many great suggestions and tweaks for my songs, which really transformed my EP. I'm really glad I came into this studio because I love the end product. I will definitely come back to record my next album here.

From beginning to end, the recording experience couldn't have been better. Jason is professional, listens to our needs, and has excellent ideas to help improve our music. His creativity is evident in his work. All of his equipment is top of the line. I was thrilled with the final project. I highly recommend this studio to anyone looking for a professional, dedicated, and hard working engineer who will produce a work that not only you will love, but all those who listen to it will!

Drum Lessons

I started these lessons with no experience whatsoever, Jason was really patient and knew exactly how to work with me. He's a really nice guy who's very knowledgable in his profession, which makes for a great teacher, and I definitely feel improvement with every session. I would absolutely recommend him, especially for other beginners out there like me!

Drum Lessons

Really really awesome!!! He helped me with my form (the way I held the sticks) and he helped me figure out the drum beat to a song I needed to learn. I will definitely be going back.

Drum Lessons

I had never played drums before I started taking lessons with Jason. I enquired with many teachers on Thumbtack about their teaching methods and finally decided on taking lessons with Jason. In hindsight, it was an excellent decision as Jason is a very friendly person and a great teacher. He has great knowledge about drums and music in general and I would totally recommend his lessons to anyone who wants to learn drums.

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am a prolific reader so I am always studying and learning new things to help make my job more creative and efficient.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have been playing drums, religiously, for 15 years. Prior to that I played a little piano, guitar and bass. I have been an audio engineer for the 5 years. I attended Musicians Institute for Drum Set Performance, Audio Engineering, Live Sound, and the Independant Artist program. I am also a drawer and painter. The reason I bring that up is because the process for making a CD or an individual song is same as painting or drawing a picture. Because I group up with that mind set now I apply it to what I love to do, MAKING RECORDS!

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I record all styles of music. Nothing is ever to out there!
