Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Study with a trained and experienced professional, and get it right the first time. I graduated from Berklee and have been teaching for over 10 years. I've created a program that generates the best results in a short time. My approach was developed in such a way that it's very modifiable to fit your skill level and what you want to get out of the lessons, and it's fun at the same time. We'll actually learn music by making music, what a concept! I'm happy to come to your place for lessons, or we could do the lessons at my place. I have a Roland V-Drum kit along with a home studio, and we can use my studio to practice to a click, play to tracks and even record the lesson. This will give you an idea of what the audience hears as compared what you think they hear. My rates are the following: * $40 per hour -- my place at North Hollywood, NoHo Arts District * $40 per hour -- over Skype or something similar * $55 per hour -- your place, such as a basement, a garage, a lock out, a backyard and wherever you practice I accept cash or credit/debit card, and every time you refer friend, a relative or a bum on the street and they take a lesson, you'll get a free lesson!

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I teach students how to play what they want to play, no matter what genre or experience. I'll help you create drum parts for your band, or learn parts from your favorite songs note-for-note. We will have fun doing it and you'll be amazed at how fast you improve. I also have a home studio so we can record your lessons and listen back to see what's really going on and where focus for improvement. I can bounce out mp3s for you to work on over the week, and even lay down some ideas for you so you'll have different approaches. You will soon be creating your own sound and be playing at the level you're always wanted.
