FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rate is $55/hour at the time of writing. I’m fair and flexible — if I see that you genuinely need help, I’m open to offering a discount. On the other hand, I may charge extra for jobs that are far away, as many people underestimate how much time traffic in this area can take — sometimes up to 3 hours round trip. I can also offer extra services for an additional fee, such as hauling away trash, lifting heavy items, or working very early or very late hours. I’m easy to work with and value clear communication. I’m loyal to good clients, but I don’t respond well to haggling for no reason. If we respect each other’s time and effort, I’ll always do my best to deliver great work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I don’t have formal education in this field, but I have over three years of hands-on experience working as a handyman. During this time, I’ve developed a wide range of practical skills through real projects and problem-solving on the job. My experience has taught me to work efficiently, adapt to different tasks, and deliver quality results to clients.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I began my career working as a handyman for several years with established company, where I gained valuable hands-on experience across a wide range of repair and maintenance tasks. Working in a team helped me develop professional skills, learn how to manage projects efficiently, and understand customer needs deeply. After building a solid foundation and confidence in my abilities, I decided to transition into self-employment to offer personalized and flexible services directly to clients
