FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing depends on the size of the project, the condition of the existing space, the level of finishes, and whether the work involves plumbing, electrical, structural changes, permits, or city inspections. Buildwright Construction focuses on quality remodeling in Los Angeles, including kitchen remodels, bathroom remodels, ADUs, additions, and full home renovations. We are not usually the right fit for small handyman jobs or the cheapest possible bid. Our goal is to price the project properly from the beginning, explain what is included, and avoid surprise costs later. We provide clear estimates based on the actual scope of work. If there are different ways to approach the project, we can usually explain options so the homeowner can decide what makes the most sense for their budget and goals.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process starts with a short conversation to understand the project, location, timeline, and budget range. From there, if the project is a good fit, we schedule an on-site consultation to walk the space and review the details in person. During the visit, we look at the existing condition, discuss the homeowner’s goals, review possible layout changes, and explain what may be required for labor, materials, permits, inspections, and scheduling. After the consultation, we prepare a detailed scope of work and estimate so the homeowner understands what is included before moving forward. Once approved, we help coordinate the project schedule, materials, crews, and communication from start to finish. Our goal is to keep the remodeling process organized, clear, and as smooth as possible.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Buildwright Construction is a licensed, bonded, and insured general contractor. Our experience comes from hands-on residential remodeling work throughout Los Angeles, including kitchens, bathrooms, ADUs, additions, structural layout changes, finish work, and full interior renovations. We work with skilled trades, designers, engineers, inspectors, and vendors to make sure each project is handled correctly. Remodeling is not just about making a space look good. It requires planning, code awareness, sequencing, waterproofing, framing, electrical, plumbing, finish details, and strong project management. Our training comes from real jobsite experience and a clear understanding of what it takes to complete remodeling projects properly.
