About
Hello! I have over 20 years of experience in the fitness industry, and I am extremely passionate about all my clients. I have a Masters degree and I'm NASM certified. I am also a Health & Wellness Coach, a university professor, NP, and professional dancer. I have helped numerous people lose weight (some up to 100 lbs), reverse type 2 diabetes, improve their posture, flexibility, strength, and sleep patterns, as well as a brain fitness to improve cognitive skills. I will create a program designed specifically for you. Although I work a lot with seniors, I have worked with teens, kids with autism, pregnant women, and just about anyone who wants to get healthy and improve their body. I change the workout often so you won't get bored and so that your body responds efficiently. I also work on specific corrective exercises and proper stretches to improve strength and flexibility. I also teach Aquatics (life guard certified), Senior fitness, Yoga for flexability & corrective stretching, Dance cardio/fitness, Bollywood, Bellydance, Zumba. I am also fluent in ASL (sign language). I am currently set up for both ZOOM clients and in-person. See results and success stories from my clients!

I've always gotten bored after working out and then I end up getting lazy and I stop exercising because I don't find it fun anymore, as it was in the beginning. I love working with Veena. She has specific exercises every time, that are tailored to each person individually. Also, we haven't ever repeated a workout. Every time I meet with her, she always has new and different exercises to do, which I think helps me a lot with motivation, and also allows me to use different muscles each time. Not only does she workout with me, but she gives me nutritional advice and reviews my food intake and ties it all together.

Veena demonstrates a command of anatomy thus teaching the exercises with clarity and offering options for folks who made need that. She is passionate about providing classes that educate and energize her students. She relates well to both men and women. She welcomes input and suggestions from her students.
