- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to communicate via email, text, or call...whichever form of communication works best for the client. I typically state who I am, suggest what I can create for them, offer our Dessert Book for viewing and provide an idea on the pricing....being understanding to budgets.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked in the catering industry for over 15 years. I was trained early on in food prep, presentation and how to run events both small (12 people) and large (500 people). I have had the opportunity to prepare and serve parties that have been appetizers only, to full sit down dinners to just drinks, apps and desserts.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Approximately 10 years ago, I started formulating a business plan on starting a Dessert Company. Many people have enjoyed our dessert creations that we voluntarily furnished for corporate events to fundraisers. But the one questionand that was always asked....where are you located? With a plan in hand and a big leap of faith, I finally decided to leave my corporate job and develop my own Dessert Company....and here we are today!
