My experience includes the following:
* Two years working for CCR, College for Court Reporting (Indiana), creating their audio skill building exercises -- each script was recorded (spoken word) at two different word speeds then, postproduced (compression, EQ, noise gate, and limiter) then, time stretched to their appropriate speed
Note that 66 scripts/month X 123 audio files with adjacent text files = 8,118 audio files and 8,118 text files/month.
* Four years at a local recording studio (Celestial Sound Studio, Modesto, CA) -- head engineer, producer, mix engineer, mastering engineer, session drummer, session guitarist, session pianist, session bassist, and programmer of various MIDI and digital instruments and sequencers
* Five years at my personal studio (Turlock, CA) with references from over 50 clients/artists/bands (same duties as above)
Aside from quality, I've earned a respectable rapport from clients because of these key attributes I find imperative to maintain -- patience, communication, and consistency.
