- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our construction pricing is based on a SOV (Schedule of Values). Each trade/category has a price which includes market rate labor cost for each of our team members. This includes labor and project management. Our mark up for any work performed in-house has a 35% margin profit that includes overhead expenses and final profit (8-12%). Some trades/categories in the SOV includes one sum only as the work will be performed by a subcontractor. Our profit using a subcontractor is 20%.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First meeting: We discuss your plans, ideas and most important approximately start date. If we can fit in your schedule we will proceed to second meeting or SOV. Second meeting SOV: We prepare rough proposal and we discuss over the phone or in person. Third meeting: We submit any SOV revisions and answer any questions client might have. We provide references. Fourth meeting: We discuss final contract, project schedule, payment schedule and any other questions client might have.
