We hired Devco for a very large, complex renovation that included architectural plans, engineering, full permitting, and converting the home into two legal units. The project began in June 2024 and is now wrapping up punch‑list items. This was far more than a cosmetic remodel—it involved structural corrections, foundation work, seismic bolting, new systems, and coordinating with the City throughout the process.
Devin and his team handled the heavy structural scope well. Underpinning, new foundation sections, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, framing, and major system upgrades were all completed as needed. Devco also managed the plans and permitting process smoothly, which was a major part of the project.
In addition to the structural work, Devco completed all the interior and exterior painting, all new windows, both kitchens and bathrooms, finishes, appliances, and the installation of electric fireplaces. We worked together throughout the project to plan the finishes, and the team was flexible and collaborative as decisions evolved.
As with most large renovations that span many months and involve significant structural work, some finish‑level items needed touch‑ups once the major work was complete. Devin has been responsive in addressing the items we’ve identified, and we appreciate the follow‑through.
