I am a Guitar, Bass, and Ukulele teacher and performing Guitarist and Bassist. I began playing guitar at age 11 and went on to study Jazz and Classical Guitar at Capital University in Columbus, OH. I moved to Oakland in 2010, and has been performing locally and nationally ever since. Today I perform with original rock groups Sleepy Sun, and Fine Points. I'm reliable and enjoy working with others. Being Professional and making sure the work is well executed is important to me. Spontaneity and interaction - Seeing people appreciating and enjoying the service I'm providing is the greatest feeling.

I have been taking guitar lessons with Owen for about a year and a half. I walked in the door never having studied music before, and he has been awesomely supportive and patient along the way. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a basic rate for half hour lessons, the rate goes up in increments as time is added.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I generally offer 1 trial lesson and then transition to monthly lessons if the student decides to continue. If we start in the middle of the month the monthly rate is discounted.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Degree in Jazz Studies and Guitar Performance
