Hello gorgeous! My name is Vannessa and I’ve been a licensed esthetician in the beauty industry for over 6 years now. My love for makeup led me to a job at Sephora where I have been doing makeup, facials, and waxing for the last 5 years or so! I’ve always loved making people feel and look their absolute best! I also teach makeup lessons, giving you the right tools and techniques to successfully create these looks on your own at home! Some background on me: I have also been lucky enough to have worked on sets for small film projects, work makeup booths for school dance events, and been the makeup artist for many wedding days and event nights! Vanessa is the best makeup artist I have ever been to!! Whether I have brought in an inspo pic, or she freestyles, I LOVE how my makeup turns out every time. I still always end up looking like "me" when she's done. She addresses my skin concerns first (combination/oily) and always picks makeup that will last me from morning, through night which has always been impossible with my oily skin. I'm 35 and biracial, and she always does a great job color matching me and making my skin look young. I've gone to her for more drastic halloween makeup, Wedding makeup, Holiday party makeup, and for formal events / work galas. I always get tons of compliments. My sister and coworker have both gone to her after seeing her finished makeup on me. And next my bestie is going to her for her Wedding trial makeup. Vanessa is the best!

I had the pleasure of working with Vanessa on two different accounts. I found her at her job just needing something cute for an occasion and then fell in love with how she delivered and had to hire her for my wedding! She serviced myself, my mother-in-law and 2 of my bridesmaids. She had so many options, delivered the inspo photos provided but also able to ad her own touches. Her suggestions were extremely helpful. She worked fast, flawless and under time pressure. We had to pause on everyone’s makeup and move to the venue site to finish which she was more than willing/flexible with. She also was on time and willing to stay until the job was done however long it took. But she is a fast worker so she managed all 4 of us very efficiently. We are a wild bunch as well and she fit right into our vibe in a professional way of-course. She handled our dancing and distractions without judgement or showing she was under stress from the time crunch. The makeup itself though came out gorgeous on everyone especially myself (the bride)! Would definitely work with her a million times over again!

Vannessa’s was incredible. I needed a makeup artist for my wedding and had done research and trials with other artists. Vannessa showed immediately that she had the experience and knowledge not only from her vast experience with colors and techniques but also with her knowledge around older skin types. She listened to the information and my experience and challenges with my own skin and makeup application challenges and she immediately used that information to pull from her vast experience and helped make me look like a beautiful and happy bride while at the same time gave me many tips and tricks on how to apply my own makeup. She was incredible. I would not hesitate to hire Vannessa for any event!

Vanessa was a fantastic makeup artist. She was super sweet and friendly; she made me feel comfortable and relaxed. I’m a timid person, but Vanessa got me to relax and laugh and enjoy being pampered and having my makeup done! Her make-up style is fantastic. She did prep my skin with excellent skincare products, keeping in mind that my skin is sensitive, so I'm always scared of trying new things, but Vanessa took all of my fears and worries and picked out the products that were for sensitive skin and keep asking how my skin felt. As for my natural glow blush makeup, the look was so beautiful. Honestly, I felt like a doll or a princess. Everyone loved my makeup, especially with the freckles. Everyone thought they were real. Vanessa brought to life the fantastic vision that I had in mind to perfection. Honestly, if you are looking for an incredible makeup artist who is kind and friend and super amazingly talented in her field, then I would say don’t think about it, just call Vanessa!
