Introduction: Deeply creative with experience planning and designing for a wide range of clients from my favorite people's most important life moments to the biggest corporate blow outs. I have almost 20 years producing amazing events with a hunger to always be better, push creative boundaries, to realize my clients vision and do it within budget. What I like most about event planning and design is that you can make anything happen--if you envision it, it can be done. Your most important life moments last only a short while. Initially I thought it couldnt be that hard to plan a wedding. Little did I realize its a practically a full time job. Josh was a great listener, heard my suggestions and came up with a beautiful design for the wedding even gave us three options for the decor. He managed all the vendors, even if he didnt book them, and no detail was left untouched. On the wedding day, Josh was as calm and collected as you can be and the wedding was BEAUTIFUL. Very impressive and would definitely recommend.

We had initially interviewed several wedding planners, but Josh won us over with his enthusiasm and artistic background. We are not artsy people, so we relied heavily on Josh for his creative vision. And boy did he deliver. We had thought our wedding venue would "wow" our guests based on location and scenery alone (we had our wedding at a golf club perched on a hill overlooking the entire bay area). However, Josh somehow utilized the architecture of the clubhouse to create an outdoor ceremony that took everyone's breath away. I have a feeling the venue will be copying Josh's fabric canopy idea for years to come (emphasis on "Josh's idea"). People took note of every little detail, from our carved-out initials on the base of each lantern stand adorning the aisle, to the menus printed on mirrors with table numbers (e.g., seat assignments) on the background. Some guests even noticed the connection between the 3D butterflies on the escort cards to the butterfly motif of our wedding website (now that's some serious attention to detail)! All of this comes at a cost... which we were not prepared to spend, at first. But in hindsight, it was worth every penny. Josh gave us a dream wedding. Our only regret is that we did not have more time to bask in that dream.

Josh helped me design the decorations for a special birthday party in our home for 60 people. He is a fount of creative ideas, and keeps refining till he gets it just right. He's a professional too, and stays calm, collected, and quietly upbeat throughout. My party was an enormous success.

Josh did a very good job at planning and making the party. I found him one week before the party, we communicated very well and the party came out to be great. The only thing I think should be better is food. I paid a lot on the food but it was not as good as what I expected. However, for a big party that has more than 30 people, I don't think I can make it without Josh.

Our pricing is not complicated. It's typically a percentage of the total cost of the event or an hourly/day rate, depending on the scope of the event.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm always learning and never expect to stop. I keep up on what's trending at the moment and always challenge myself to take it one step further and go deeper with an idea or a vision. I love the minutia and details that make an event wonderful.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was working in public relations and found that I liked the event side of PR much more than the media side. The events were a great creative outlet and I had much more control over the image of the event than a reporter on a story.
