- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a base fee for my tutoring. However, I tailor the pricing of my services on a number of factors because each client is different. I offer discounts if clients come to me, for example, or if a client buys a package of classes as opposed to just one lesson at a time.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, having a phone conversation to get acquainted, followed by a discussion on the needs, goals and availabilties of each client. Then setting up a time and place to meet. I highly recommend notebooks and recording devices for tutoring lessons. After lessons are completed, I like to set up projected goals for the next class.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
A lifetime of work in Spanish language communications, including national broadcast television journalism, radio programming, independent media consulting, arts advocacy, Spanish marketing services (regional, national and international), over 35 years of Spanish voice-over services, independent and full-time educational services as a World Language teacher and consultancy in multi-cultural performing arts performance and programming.
