Introduction: Yoga is much more than a physical practice; it is a roadmap for learning to focus the mind and live and act from our highest self. Over time, the practice of yoga can help us find calm, clarity, and a deep sense of peace. I have over 800 hours of training in vinyasa and therapeutic styles of yoga, along with a Master's degree in Positive Psychology. In my work I draw upon meditation, breathing, yoga philosophy, and Ayurveda to help clients find peace within their bodies and minds. My specialty is in personalizing practices to meet my clients' unique physical, mental and emotional needs. Whether you're looking for a strong athletic practice, or a nourishing facilitated relaxation, I can help build a program that will work for you. During COVID, I am offering sessions virtually or outdoors.

As a dancer and meditator, I’ve tried to get into yoga for years. I took classes regularly, but the spiritual essence and interest just never quite clicked for me. Working with Annie changed all that. I began attending Annie’s Yoga Book Club sessions and there was something about her teaching style that I loved. Her voice greets you with warmth and kindness and her creative flows are a perfect balance of rigor and restoration. I’ve been fortunate enough to take her classes regularly, even on retreats, and now online during quarantine. Looking forward to her Sunday morning classes has inspired me to make yoga part of my weekly routine. If that wasn’t enough, I had a private session with her because she also specializes in yoga therapy. I told her what I wanted to work on and what my limitations were and she crafted the perfect flow for me. Now I have specific poses I feel excited to practice and make part of my daily workout - even with dance! I finally “get it” thanks to Annie’s method of using yoga as therapy and showing me how yoga can be a personalized practice. It’s made all the difference and I can finally tell people that I DO enjoy yoga.

My session with Annie was the best gift I could’ve given myself. Annie, you have an incredible ability to tune in to what a body needs and create a flow that honors all of those needs (along with little hacks that make it easy for me to actually follow through on it). I’ve been struggling to get a mind/body routine together and this was the first step toward it that truly feels good. I 1000% recommend her to anyone looking to better tune into their body and find a healing yoga flow that feels amazing :). Thank you Annie and can’t wait for our next session!

Annie is amazing! Her classes are truly an oasis. Also- ask her to lead you in a meditation! Her classic is one of the best I’ve experienced.

My yoga session with Annie was everything I didn’t even know I needed. Annie was able to help me identify my own areas of need and how to work through them in postures and breath. Great experience overall! Highly recommend.

Annie is absolutely amazing! The private sessions I’ve had with her have been magical. She is so intuitive and caring - I walked away feeling like I truly received exactly what my heart needed. Her words are inspiring, her offerings knowledgeable and her kindness is contagious. I can’t wait for another practice with Annie! :)
