- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge a flat monthly rate based on a 52-week year. This fee covers pre-payment for the upcoming months lessons. Below is the fee schedule. Fee Schedule Weekly lesson length Monthly Flat Fee 45-minutes $ 199.00 ($46.00 per lesson) 60-minutes* $ 252.00 ($58.00 per lesson) 75-minutes* $ 309.00 ($71.50 per lesson) 90-minutes* $ 364.00 ($84.00 per lesson) Greater than 90 minutes Calculated at $ 56.00/hr rate *Can be split by two students (e.g. two 30-minute or 45-minute lessons) Approximately four months each year will contain five lessons, and the monthly fee reflects the average for all months. As a result, the lesson fees will stay the same regardless of the number of weeks in any given month.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process starts with getting to know the student's goals, preferences, and helping our families our understand our lesson plan options, and all of the other services we provide - recitals, community events, workshops. From there, we would have a local instructor reach out to them to schedule their free introductory lesson. If that's a good match, we have an enrollment process that's very simple and straight forward. Virtuoso Music is happy to provide a service to every family in and around Orange County!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The majority of our instructors have at least a bachelor's degree in music, while some have a master's. The teaching experience could be as little as 4-5 years. Then again, we have a number of them have been teaching for more than 15-20+ years.
