- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I prefer to offer an all-inclusive fee. I do not like to charge extra for travel, meals, etc. If I am in the area already, I will offer discounts. I also offer discounts for repeat business.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Many customers are ready to book with an email confirmation while others like to set up conference calls to go through all the details. Once everything is confirmed, I write a confirmation that includes my invoice, w-9 form, photo and 100-word bio for introductions. I also help promote the event through my social media outlets, if the customer is looking for additional attendees.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was a television news anchor/reporter for more than 15 years. Doing seminars and emceeing events was part of my job. I went out on my own in 2007 after going through executive coach training with CoachU.
