I had hosted a girlfriends 40th birthday in Malibu and thought it would be a lot easier to have a personal chef come to us than have to find transportation out. I’m so happy I came across The Crain Experience I could not of been happier with my decision. First of all, they were very prompt with responding to all of my questions. Their website has many options to choose from which was probably the hardest decision of all . On the date of the event, Chef Jason and and his assistant Jazz showed up on time and with everything they needed, and got straight to cooking . We started with a large charcuterie board for the group that we all got to graze on while they prepared the dinner. To start we had a garden salad with a delicious dressing. Our main course was filet mignon on top of wasabi mashed potatoes with a side of perfectly cooked asparagus to finish with dessert we had the most delicious banana pudding that everyone loved he even accommodated our gluten-free friend. I could not have been happy with my decision to go with The Crain Experience. I was so happy that we did choose the full catering service because we didn’t have to do anything else like clean a dish or clear the table I’m sure I will be seeing them again, my friends could not have been happier with their meal. Thank you so much for the happy memories and delicious meal.

Chef Victor, Willie and Reannon went above and beyond to make our celebration special. The service and level of professionalism was excellent, and we felt comfortable with them right away. We were particularly impressed at the freshness of the salad course and how perfectly the salmon was cooked. They really seemed to care! I will also note that they saved the day because a chef from a different company cancelled with only 10 days' notice before our event. When selecting a chef for an important event, be warned that chefs unaffiliated with groups like Pacific Coast Palate have no backup!
