Oscar and a workmate came within an hour of my call for service during a freezing spell in Palmdale to do a repair on our natural gas home furnace. He was completely professional, respectful, and informative during all aspects of the work he did. He gave us an extremely reasonable diagnostic fee of 40.00 which would apply to any work done. We had lived with space heaters for three weeks with a freezing spell at night, and very cold days. The house was cold, very cold. Oscar found the problem and repaired it , spending a fair amount of time, well over an hour to diagnose and repair the problem. When he was finished, we asked for several of his business cards to pass to neighbors and friends in the future, as we would call him back for needed work without the slightest hesitation, also looking to recommend him to neighbors / family / friends and it felt good to know we had met a professional, fair and trustworthy communicative HVAC contractor we were very happy to now know. He was a gentleman, completely straight forward, honest and friendly who did careful, quality work and cleaned up the area perfectly after performing the work. Absolutely Highly Recommended ! The fact that he made the experience one of feeling that he holds honesty, integrity, and quality work with fair prices in such a comfortable exchange is priceless when hiring a contractor for the first time, and Oscar did just that. I should've posted this a while back, got caught up in my new cool breeze system ..This guy is legit, his staff very professional and the turnaround was quick. I was a little iffy at first because of the location of his business and where i was located. Wasn't sure if he would make the house call to fix a small problem. He stood by his word and proven me wrong! Ultimately, he's great with providing the best pricing and quality of work. .Better then SEARS and other giant corporation

We spent the whole day on the roofs of two buildings. Oscar repaired three units in different apartments: one with a leak inside on the carpet, one that did not work at all and one, only recently installed, that was out of coolant. Previous maintenance was terrible. He is drawing up a contract now so that total units will not have to be replaced as I had once expected.

Called me back immediately. Was the only one who could come out that day and since it was pretty cold in my house I needed the heat fixed ASAP. He figured out the problem and gave me a better deal than what i expected. Excellent service. I highly recommend Oscar and Southern California Mechanical.
