The other thing I would say about Ruby is that like great events people I've seen in action, she was both everywhere at once and invisible. Whenever something needed to be handled, she was on it, even before it became an issue. But she was never in the middle, never in the wrong place, and always doing exactly the right thing with zero guidance from me. Absolute professionalism.
Lastly, she found a great caterer, got some great baked items, and did flower arrangements herself for every table that were both beautiful and practical (on a windy day, outdoors). She correctly assessed the level of involvement I needed in the process and acted accordingly. Absolute responsiveness.
I am not an events person or natural party planner, but I like a good party and as a senior executive I know good work when I see it. I am very grateful to Ruby and can only say that if you need a person to plan an event and execute on it perfectly, you won't go wrong here.
