Beware Jim Rubin Bonales (also goes by James and Jimmy) is NOT A LICENSED CONTRACTOR OR REALTOR AND NEVER HAS BEEN!!
He is a fraud and steals people's money and ruins their homes and then disappears and is on to the next victim!
I paid him $101,800 in less than 2 months and instead of buying materials or paying the unlicensed, illegal workers that he hired to work on my home, he spent my hard earned money on booze, strippers, and a new Mercedes and then took off and is nowhere to be found!
I had to pay those workers to get them off my property, have had to hire an attorney and now have to find a new contractor to repair the $400,000-$600,000 in damage that he caused to my property, which includes the flood he caused under my home!!! My home is not even safe to live in and can't be sold, as it's worth less now than what I bought it for!
PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM JIM BONALES! I am the third person this year that he has done this to that I know of, so I'm sure there are more! His bank accounts are all frozen for fraud and carry negative balances. He has a misdemeanor for Contracting Without a License and is on probation and has been convicted in the past for a hit and run.
If you know that he is doing any construction please call and report it to the District Attorney's Office at 310.222.3552 as this is a probation violation and they will incarcerate him.
