Introduction: ABOUT I am a teacher with a multicultural teaching credential. I have a BA in literature and linguistics, as well as a master's degree in psychology and sociology. I have been a classroom teacher for 14 years, and I have been teaching almost every grade level, from kindergarten to high school. I have been tutoring school-age children for the past six years. I can tutor a specific subject that your child is struggling with, or I can simply give them the extra boost you're looking for. I can split a session into two lessons to touch on multiple subjects, or I use part of the time for teaching and the other part for working on homework, projects or specific lessons. I can also do small group tutoring with 3 kids together at a reduced rate for each. Oftentimes, this helps students by creating a comfortable environment that is almost classroom-like. I find it most beneficial for the students to do tutoring lessons either twice a week for one hour each or once a week for a two-hour lesson. My tutoring rates are the following: * Individual 1- 2 hour session: $85 per hour * Small Group 1-Hour or 2-Hour Sessions: $60 per Student/per Hour Homeschooling services also available. I love working with kids of all ages and find working one-on-one or with small groups so rewarding and academically beneficial!
