FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $200 for an initial consultation and $100 an hour for follow-ups. If clients come weekly, which is mandatory for eating disorders and compulsive overeaters, I discount the fee to $350 foor 4 sessions over a one-month period. My FOODStrong food sensitivity program runs anywhere from $725 to $10,000 depending upon the services provided.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My initial consultation lasts 1 1/2 to 2 hours. I review two condition-specific questionnaires I send to clients along with a three-day food and exercise record in Food Prodigy, an online nutritional analysis program that tracks 144 different nutrients. As well as asking pertinent questions as each person will receive an individualized treatment plan from me. I then make suggestions for current and future treatment/therapy based upon their unique needs. Depending upon the client, I will use regular medical nutrition therapy, nutritional supplements, body-mind-spirit techniques such as guided imagery, and even my medical intuition in that therapy.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
BS in Nutrition, Dietetic Internship, certification as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, and Certified Clinical Nutritionist. Advanced training in Alternative and Complementary Medicine. Advanced training in eating disorder therapy.
